Borrowing e-books from the library on your Nook just got a lot easier as the Overdrive app is now available on Nook Color, Tablet, and the forthcoming HD. By downloading the Overdrive app, patrons can browse the e-collection directly from their device and borrow books wiothout having to connect to a computer. Overdrive was previously available on Apple devices, as well as Amazon's Kindle Fire.
Because the Nook Simple Touch and Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight do not have browsers, the process for borrowing e-books on those devices will remain the same.
